Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised by a mixed ethnic family. Her father and mother have both been English. She was raised in a council estate south of London. In the ages of 14, she attended The Brit School. She earned her BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. While at the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career with the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has been a guest star on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she was the lead in Elisha on an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie for six episodes in the series Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. She also landed the part of Bambi in the ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl and was featured in the episodes two and three. Madekwe was also the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in the year 2008. She has performed as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path which was written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes, but it was ended. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes of the show's first two seasons as a regular. In May of 2013, it was announced that news broke that Madekwe will quit the show due to her guest appearance on the first episode of the series' third season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba the television series Salem. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg on June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as a couple in Salem.
Ashley Leggat, an actress who was twice nominated for the Gemini Award, is a member of an extensive Hamilton family. The four brothers she had were also present including twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's sports brothers played baseball during summers as well as hockey in winter. Ashley was unable to walk, but could dance. In the end, as she grew older She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance immediately after that. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap ballet, hip hop, lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe, until she finished from high school. All of the important dance competitions, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the title "top individualist".
